Product description: Cordyceps-capsules with 100% mushroom powder from the whole mushroom

Food supplement

At home in the Tibetan highlands

The Cordyceps is a so-called tubular mushroom from the group of core clubs. The natural occurrences of the Cordyceps are in the Tibetan highlands.

Sustainable breeding to protect nature

Today, the demand for the wild specimens is so great that its price is practically as high as gold. Our Cordyceps capsules contain Cordyceps sinensis (in German: "Raupenpilz", because the mushroom grows in nature on a certain type of caterpillar).

However, according to German and European food regulations and hygiene standards, it is not possible to offer the mushroom growing out of caterpillars as food or food supplement. The advantages of cultivation are obvious: On the one hand, this mushroom becomes affordable for everyone in our country. In addition, we are contributing to the protection of nature in Tibet by not supporting extensive collection of these mushrooms.

In the last decades, the enormous demand for this mushroom in Tibet has led to a real "Cordyceps frenzy". This has inevitably led to a deplorable depletion of nature, negatively affecting flora, fauna and, in the long term, people. By putting the same mushroom species in our capsules as in the wild, it is ensured that all components are preserved.

What makes us so special?

If possible, everything from one region

The word "home" is very important to us as a family business. We are rooted in the region and the people here and, above all, we want to create regional jobs and secure them in the long term.

Family atmosphere

Many of our employees have been with our company for decades and appreciate both the short commute to work and the family atmosphere. In addition to the positive effect on the climate and the strengthening of the business location, a good work-life balance is important to us.

Growing but conserving resources

We source raw materials such as maize and wood chips from regional suppliers for the cultivation of our organic medicinal mushrooms. This means we have short transport routes and can support local farmers and local businesses.

There are many small adjustments that can be made to make a company sustainable. For example, our production and all of the company's vehicles are powered by electricity generated by our own photovoltaic system (200 kW). We can therefore largely dispense with combustion engines. In addition, heat-loving mushrooms that thrive at high temperatures are only grown in summer. Cold-loving mushrooms are grown in the cold season to save heating and cooling energy. Two combined heat and power plants, which utilise the principle of cogeneration, ensure a higher degree of energy utilisation.
