A healthy balanced diet is an important pillar of performance. The right intake of micro- and macronutrients are the basis for maintaining and improving performance. Your body will perform better because it gets the nutrients it needs to support adaptive processes.

LIFESTYLE

The be-all and end-all of performance enhancement is a healthy lifestyle. This includes avoiding stimulants such as smoking and alcohol as much as possible and limiting caffeine consumption as much as possible. It is also important to give your body enough sleep of 7 to 8 hours. It is also helpful to keep stress levels moderate - small time-outs and good planning of training, everyday life and work help here.
